Process Overall: There are a few variables that affect the cost of your countertop. Some of which would depend of your chioce in stone color & quality grade, edge profile, as well as the size and shape of your countertop. Our sales representatives will assist you through each step so that you may make an imformed decision regarding the project(s) of your home.
Template & Installation: Once our client's old countertop is removed, the templating is the next step forward. A job site is ready to template when all necessary appliances including cooktop, down draft, stove, sinks, faucets, soap dispensers, hot water dispensers or any other pertinent items are on site. Any items that require a cut in the stone will be taken( if necessary, cooktops are not, only measurements are taken) at the time of the template and returned at the time of installation. The installation is a three part process. Step 1 is creating a physical template of your new countertop. This is creating an exact replica of your finished countertop. It will include precise sink, range, and seam locations as well as backsplash, electrical outlets, window sills, etc. The actual installation of your countertop is next!! This step 2 is a process that can take from 2 to 5 hours respectively depending on the size of the project, number of seams, cutouts, and pieces. the final step is for maintenance. AMC Granite will seal your countertops with a powerful protective formula. Clients should re-seal your stone pieces approximately every six months.
